Arnava in sanskrit refers to what comes from the sea, the waves, and the ocean. The Arnava cabinet was designed as a fluid piece in wood which undulates over a surface. While its surface is made of textured solid wood, the interior reveals bright color. The opening of the Arnava is conceived as a moment of celebration of this alternating matt and reflective materials as the two doors swing open.
