ARA THOROSE

Ara Thorose is an Armenian-American designer from Los Angeles, currently based in NY. He holds an MFA in 3D Design from Cranbrook Academy of Art. As an undergraduate at the University of California Irvine, he studied Sociology with a focus on gender and sexuality. In 2021, Thorose was an honoree of Sight Unseen’s American Design Hotlist and received Interior Design Magazine’s award for Rising Star in Product Design. That year, his 7M Chair was entered into the permanent collection of Cranbrook Art Museum.
